Salthouse 10 LANDMARK exhibition. We spend many hours looking through windows with hope and expectation, dreaming, waiting and passing the time. A frame-less view with no boundaries that could restrain ones's thoughts. The negative space questions our perception of what we see and what is there to be seen and how we interpret it. What is beyond? This is something that many of us are preoccupied with trying to fathom. The panes are curved and opaque to make the viewer concentrate visually on what might be, symbolising the difficulty that we have in really seeing properly.
